An Integrated, Interdisciplinary Unit on the Discovery of Myself for Grades One and Two Relationships, friendships, and self-esteem start early in life. Children of all ages need to know about themselves. They want to know about their families, friends, and how they themselves fit into the world or their community. It is important to develop a good understanding of oneself so we can work cooperatively, respect others, and use these skills to have positive life long skills.
