Triple Trilobite Plate- Cornuproetus, Phacops and Gerastos

This plate contains 3 of the most iconic trilobites from Morocco. The first is a Phacops (possibly Greenops), the second is a Cornuproetus cornutus and the third is a Gerastos granulosus. They date from the Early/ Middle Devonian, approximately 390 million years ago. The schizochroal lenses in the eyes of the Phacops are well-preserved. The holochroal lenses in the Gerastos and in one eye of the Cornuproetus are intact. The entire plate is 5.0 inches long, 3.55 inches wide and 2.34 inches high.
