This is a rare, newly described fossil trilobite, Adrisiops weugi - a Phacopid, from the Middle Devonian of Morocco. The trilobite is sometimes referred to as a 'smiley Phacops' because of its bulbous glabella with a 'smile'. The fossil measures inches 2.0 long, and 1.22 inches wide. The entire specimen, trilobite and matrix, measures 2.65 inches long, 3.0 inches wide and 1.65 inches high. Extremely well-preserved Schizochroal lenses are present in both eyes.
