Description Crazyflie 2.x DWM1000 Loco Positioning Node for Indoor Positioning System, Ultra-Wide-Band Radio Module Enables precise indoor positioning within 10 cm accuracy Runs on STM32F072 Cortex-M0 for rapid data processing Supports versatile modes: Anchor, Tag, Sniffer Utilizes ultra-wideband communication technology Configurable via USB for enhanced user flexibility The Crazyflie 2.x DWM1000 Loco Positioning Node for Indoor Positioning System, Ultra-Wide-Band Radio Module is a versatile component designed for use in indoor positioning systems. It primarily functions as an Anchor within a Loco Positioning system, serving as a reference point for calculating the absolute position of objects. Alternatively, it can operate in Tag mode, allowing it to be attached to objects for tracking purposes, such as robots. This dual functionality makes it a critical element in systems requiring precise indoor navigation and positioning. The module is built around the STM32F072 Cortex-M0 MCU, which facilitates rapid and accurate data processing and control. It employs ultra-wideband communication technology, utilizing the DWM1000 UWB radio module based on the IEEE802.15.4a UWB PHY standard. This enables high-precision ranging, with distance measurements to Loco Positioning Node Anchors accurate within a 10 cm range. The system supports multiple modes, including Anchor, Tag, and Sniffer, and can be upgraded and configured via USB. In a typical Loco Positioning system, the Anchors are strategically placed within a room, akin to satellites in a GPS system, while Tags are affixed to the objects being tracked. The system calculates the position of these Tags by measuring the distances from each Anchor, using high-frequency radio messages. This setup allows for effective indoor positioning and navigation, making it suitable for applications such as teaching, high-density cluster applications, and trajectory planning. Note: This product is intended to be used together with the Loco Positioning Deck and cannot be used standalone.
