Description Crazyflie 2.0 DWM1000 Loco Positioning Deck for Indoor Positioning System Supports indoor autonomous flight Achieves 10 cm positioning accuracy Operates in TWR and TDoA modes Utilizes ultra-wideband communication Integrates with Loco Positioning Nodes The Crazyflie 2.0 DWM1000 Loco Positioning Deck for Indoor Positioning System functions as a Tag within a Loco Positioning system, measuring distances to Anchors to estimate the absolute position of the Crazyflie 2.X in a room. This capability facilitates autonomous flight without the need for an external computer for position estimation. The deck can operate in dual modes: Two-way ranging (TWR) and Time Difference of Arrival (TDoA), allowing it to act as either an Anchor or a Tag. Typically, it serves as an Anchor, forming part of the system's reference base, but it can also be attached to objects for tracking purposes. The system supports high precision ranging with an accuracy within a 10 cm range, utilizing ultra-wideband communication based on the IEEE802.15.4a UWB PHY standard. It operates across multiple channels with a 500MHz bandwidth, ensuring high-speed and reliable data transfer. The TDoA mode enables the positioning of multiple Crazyflies, functioning similarly to an indoor GPS system, and is most effective within the space inside the anchors. Applications of this system include indoor positioning and navigation, educational purposes, high-density cluster applications, machine learning, and trajectory planning.
