18K Gold Italian Etruscan Revival Fob Locket Pendant or Charm Set with Turquoise
Made in Italy and dating to the 1960s or so, may I offer this incredibly ornate, Etruscan Revival pendant or fob charm that is also a locket or hidden container. Fashioned of 18K Yellow Gold (hallmarked on inside 750), the treasure chest opens at the bottom; to determine how to do so, just check for the hinge on the one side. The gemstones on the piece are turquoise - possibly Persian as opposed to American turquoise. Height is 1-1/8" (not including bale or ring); base measures 13/16" x 3/4". Weight is a hefty 16 grams. The piece was found on an 18K Gold charm bracelet and to be taken off, the jump ring had to be clipped - I include it with the charm. Absolutely gorgeous, just look at all the detail to the piece!
