18K Gold Edwardian Revival Russian Enamel Diamond Easter Egg Pendant or Large Charm

Dating to the 1970s or so, may I offer this Edwardian Revival neo-classical 18K Yellow Gold (hallmarked as pictured) Easter Egg pendant or large charm crafted in Russia. The lime green/emerald green enamel egg was crafted during the USSR Soviet period when everyone was Faberge crazy; if I remember correctly, the Faberge eggs were making the rounds of the United States and Canada, on display for all to view. The pendant measures about 5/8" high with the bale and jump ring adding another 3/8" of length. To add a touch of sparkle to the piece, the egg is bezel set with 2 faceted round white diamonds each measuring about 2 points (.04CT TW); E/F color with VVS1-2 clarity. In other words, an absolutely gorgeous piece of vintage Russian jewelry! The design is lovely with a starburst design at the bottom and a bale with separate jump ring at the top.
