Antique Victorian Gilt Bronze Tabletop Easel Frame from France - Saint George Engraved Image

Dating to the late 1880s or so, may I offer this Napoleon III gilt bronze table top (or hanging, there's a ring on the back) easel frame manufactured by H. Cochard. 13 RDU, Paris. The front design is floral, the inside rim is brown/gray velvet and the focal point is the religious etching of Saint George on the inside. The back plate has 2 screws making it easy to replace the contents. Height is 3-1/2"; width is 2-1/2". Image area is 2-1/8" x 2-3/4". Beautiful piece with a wonderful patina to the metal. Oh, and yes, that is a shadow on the back plate from the easel - it looks like the piece sat in a place for a long time in the sun.
