Antique Victorian Die Cuts on Scrapbook Page - Robinson Crusoe and His Man Friday

AGE: C.1890 or so ITEM: Still pasted to the original sheet of paper from a Victorian scrap album, here are 5 different chromolithographic die cuts depicting Robinson Crusoe with his dog and goat as well as his man, Friday. CONDITION: The die cuts are still glued to the back album paper thereby reinforcing the strength of the paper. The color is very high with no breakdown in the inking process. I do see 3 breaks in the last chromo - in the palm trees and also, in the first piece, ROBINSON is missing from the top. SIZE: Each piece is about 4-1/2" x 3" approx. FINAL COMMENTS: I could have thrown these pieces away but I really do think there is someone out there who would want these interesting buts of paper.
