Parsons Base Dining Table

So what do you do with the century-old floor beams you pull from buildings located all over the borough of Brooklyn?   You could do what most contractors do and throw them away, I suppose, or you could do what we've been doing since the day we started -- reclaim them, mill them down and give them a second life.  In this case those reclaimed old floor beams have become table tops, we're more than happy to put material that was destined for the landfill back into circulation. Tops are reclaimed pine that can be dyed any number of shades, the Parsons base is blackened steel welded right here in our BK shop.  Each tree and therefore each piece of lumber is different, your table will have just the right amount of unique characteristics. Wood is finished with poly and hand-rubbed beeswax, the steel is clear-coated to protect against future oxidization.We're a built-to-order fabrication shop so message us if you want this piece to be modified -- bigger, smaller, different base design, etc,.
