Flower Shaped Antique Silver Basket

The first thing you notice when looking at this antique silver plated basket is the large interior flower!  Each petal is molded from the bottom and chased from the back with more petals and flowers.  The flower theme continues on the moveable handle.  The Repousse basket sits on a pedestal.  Repousse is the special antique craftsmanship whereby the silver is hammered from the back to make the design.  This antique (probably at least 150 years old ) is a special centerpiece that will make a collectable treasure for years to come.  10.5 x 12.5.
