Reef Essential® Signature Series™ Iodine is designed to provide ultra-pure Iodine for Reef Aquariums. Iodine is an essential element required for coral health, vitality & improves color. Iodine helps to provide a natural sunblock from excess UV light as well as naturally reduce over density of zooxanthellae. It is also used in many biochemical processes within the aquarium such as improving exoskeleton development in invertebrates such as crustaceans.Recommended Iodine concentration = 0.03-0.09ppm Suitable for these Saltwater environments: FOWLR | LPS | Mixed | NPS |SPS Contents:Deionized Water, Purified Iodine Dosing: 0.1mL/100L (26 US gal) will raise Iodine by 0.01ppm. We recommend spreading out the dosage over at least a 1-week period. This helps to improve consistency & reduce sudden change.
