It may show very slight signs of having been mounted in a custom rack chassis but it was never shipped to site. The Middle Atlantic 2U rackmount frame is included as shown. This is an eight channel microphone (or line level) mixer which offers a PC based Graphical User Interface to adjust levels and bus assigments etc. These are commonly used in courtrooms to record transcription audio to a computer hard drive from the various microphones. However it could be used for other similar multichannel recording situations, or the analog outputs could be used to send a mixed signal to a PA system or alternative recording device. The item has been tested for good audio and that it can be configured and controlled via the USB interface. The driver package can be downloaded here
