This 19th century British Tunbridgeware box is 10” x 6.5” x 4.25”. Beautifully finished exterior with working lock and key. The box style is named after Tunbridge Wells in Kent, which was a spa town. The local furniture makers created these beautiful inlaid boxes for the many visiting tourists.
