This 19th century British walnut dome Tunbridgeware box is 9.75” x 6.75” x 5”. Beautifully finished exterior with mother of pearl. No working lock and key. The box style is named after Tunbridge Wells in Kent, which was a spa town. The local furniture makers created these beautiful inlaid boxes for the many visiting tourists.
