Harry and Céline Gozlan craft Bob Singlar Rouge at their 120-hectare Domaine de la Mongestine in Provence's Haut-Var region, where clay-limestone soils meet north-facing slopes at 450 meters altitude. The 2023 vintage blends Merlot and Marselan with touches of Roussanne and Pinot Noir, showcasing organic viticulture certified since 2014 and now transitioning to biodynamics. Native yeast fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks, followed by aging in inert vessels and amphora that allow micro-oxygenation without masking terroir. This minimal-intervention approach includes no sulfur additions until bottling, when less than 10ppm are added, resulting in an unfiltered, vibrant expression of Provence's cooler microclimates.
