Lavender Eucalyptus & Mayan Black Salt Soap

Close your eyes and turn your shower into a peaceful and home spa experience of a thermal bath with precious black salt and eucalyptus and lavender steam. Mayan black salt is a special ingredient, as it is still considered sacred by the Maya.  It was one of the earliest commodities of the ancient Maya, as it was harvested along riverbeds and transported to other communities. The salt is collected using centuries-old methods passed down through families in the highlands of Guatemala. It is a rigorous and ancient process, only practiced by a few now. It is used in the soap to give a nice, foamy lather and gentle exfoliate.  It is combined in this soap with eucalyptus which the Mayans used in their temezcals (a type of sauna) to help clear the air and breathing.
