Jorie Johansen's work represents new life, or Nouvelle Vie, as she calls the series. After a long break from creative pursuits due to everyday life, the pandemic forced Johansen to slow down and re-evaluate her priorities; she was able to take some time to indulge her creative side and explore new avenues for expression. The Nouvelle Vie series, with its experimentation with color and pattern, represents a blossoming of hope and happiness for which Johansen's soul has been searching for. Framed: 11" x 11"
