Extracts: Organic Tulsi Tincture

A herbal extract made with our fresh organic tulsi during its peak flowering. This tincture is made with the Kapoor variety, which is one of the sweetest tulsi varieties and high in rosmarinic acid, a strong antioxidant.  1:3 herb to menstruum ratio, 50-60% alcohol.  Tulsi/Holy Basil (Ocimum tenuiflorum var. Kapoor):  Also referred to as "Holy Basil", Tulsi is named for a Hindu goddess and roughly translates to "that which is incomparable". It is a magically sweet and sacred nervine and adaptogen that assists in modulating the effects of stress while lowering inflammatory load. As a member of the basil family, tulsi is rich in terpenes, such as eugenol, and antioxidant-rich polyphenols.
