Once there was a curious cat Who roamed the streets and never sat She chased mice and birds with glee And climbed trees as easily as a bee She explored alleys and lanes at night And basked in the moon's ethereal light She was a fearless feline queen And nothing in the world was ever seen But one day, as she roamed the land She came across a mouse's den And in the dark, she saw a pair of eyes That shone like stars in the midnight skies The cat froze, and the mouse did too They stared at each other, what else could they do?
