Chinese Licorice Spagyric Tincture

This Chinese Licorice Spagyric Tincture is made with the Chinese Licorice plant. Glycyrrhiza uralensis is also known as sweet root or gancao. Our Spagyric Tinctures are made with Organic, Ecodynamic, or Wildharvested Biomass and Tinctured with Organic Cane Spirits as our Veg Mercury. Once the tincture is made, we add Spagyric Salt of Salt of the Vegetable Kingdom and digest until reactions have stopped. Historically, Chinese Licorice has been used for irritated membranes, as an expectorant, to help stimulate mucous secretions of the trachea, for its anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic effects, and to protect the liver against toxins. In TCM it is known as Gan Cao, and has been used to tonify the Basal Qi, nourish the Spleen Qi, clear Heat, dispel toxicity, harmonize and moderate the effects of other herbs, moisten the Lung, expel phlegm, stop coughing, for pain, palpitations, spasmodic pain, abcesses, sore throat, and sputum.
