This is an original 1921 color plate of the grounds of the U. S. Naval Academy. Illustrated by artist E. R. Kullberg, this print also has a lovely border drawn by artist Franklin Booth (artist initials in print, bottom center). Franklin Booth. (1874 - 1948) Born and raised in Indiana, he was primarily an ink and a pen artist. He was known for his intricate decorative borders which include many fine lines and fanciful images.
