This is an original 1921 duotone print portrait of a U. S. Navy Rear Admiral. (Unfortunately, we cannot make out the name.) This print has a lovely border drawn by artist Franklin Booth (artist initials in print, bottom center). Franklin Booth. (1874 - 1948) Born and raised in Indiana, he was primarily an ink and a pen artist. He was known for his intricate decorative borders which include many fine lines and fanciful images.
