The Kuroda Shin is popular oriental carrot with a nice sweet flavor, making it a great addition to any oriental dish. Makes an excellent juicing carrot. You'll receive 150+ seeds packed in a kraft pouch. Daucus carota subsp. sativus Sun: Full Sun Days to Maturity: 75 Sow from early Spring to Midsummer, spacing seeds 1″ apart (about 15-20 seeds/ft.), 1/4- 1/2″ deep, in single rows 16-24″ apart. Sprinkle the soil surface to keep moist. Don’t allow soil to crust before the emergence of seedlings which takes 1-3 weeks, depending on temperature and moisture. Thin young seedlings to 1-2″ apart, depending on root size desired.
