This media is intended to be run in a vibratory finisher or some other high energy mass finishing machine. It will not perform well in rotary tumblers. If you're new at vibratory finishing be prepared for some experimentation. It's as much art as science. That goes for nutshell, ceramic or plastic media, and others. The surface of the parts you're finishing, the part material, the media, the machine you're using, etc, are all variables that must balance.
