This media is intended to be run in a vibratory finisher or some other high energy mass finishing machine. This is a ceramic media which does not cut, it polishes. If you're new to vibratory finishing, It's as much art as science. That goes for nutshell, ceramic or plastic media, and others. The surface of the parts you're finishing, the part material, the media, the machine you're using, etc, are all variables that must balance.
