This is a vegetable wax (hereafter called "veggie wax") that we are selling in small quantities for people who would like to try out a hard vegetable wax. It is most often used for candles although it has other uses such as an ingredient in balms or hand lotions. It's a great alternative to paraffin for a 100% all-natural candle. But if you wish, it can also be blended with paraffin. The supplier doesn't specify what vegetable veggie wax is made from. It is not the same as the softer kind of vegetable waxes. It's a great additive to coconut waxes to stiffen them, yet keep them all-natural (versus blending coconut wax with paraffin). It is crystalline and hard enough to stand up on its own for pillar candles but can also be used for votive candles and in tart molds....(see more)
