This is an unusual amorphous quartz, non-crystalline. It looks like slightly translucent quartz crystal, because it has small amounts of water between quartz molecules. Girasol has an inner glow due to the lesser amount of water although some pieces will have flashes of color from inner fractures. We have several varieties of quartz in several sizes. The smaller sizes can be used for jewelry, or for various mineral resin embedments, craft and orgonic alike.
