This is an unusual amorphous quartz, non-crystalline. It looks like slightly translucent quartz crystal, because it has small amounts of water between quartz molecules. The gemstone opal shows different colors in a usually opaque/ translucent stone. Girasol has an inner glow due to the lesser amount of water. We have several varieties of quartz in several sizes. The smaller sizes can be used for jewelry, or for various mineral resin embedments, craft and orgonic alike.
