Injection wax has specific properties which depend somewhat on the purpose of the final multiple metal products. It is widely used in the arts, in jewelry/adornment, small to medium sized sculptures, and components of other arts. Injection wax needs some type of tough wax that doesn't break easily when handled during spruing and venting (but still hard enough to *hold* detail !).
