Walnut and Maple End Grain Cutting Board

This is a beautiful Walnut and Hard Maple end grain cutting board. The edges have a subtle 1/4" round over and the bottom on the ends have a 3/4" cove routed in for secure handholds.  This comes with rubber feet for secure cutting on your counters.  This board is approximately 18"L x 12"W x 1.5" with the rubber feet on and 1.25" without the feet. We start with rough lumber from a local mill and take our time milling so it's flat on all sides. Next, we cut everything to length and width and arrange the pieces just so. The construction of the board is completed with FDA approved, food safe water-proof glue. Finally, the board is sanded down to an extra-smooth finish, sealed with a 24 hour soak in food-grade oil and then waxed with my own wood conditioner. This board takes 2-3 weeks to ship, as every board is made to order.  Since we use wood, all boards will slightly vary in look (knots, grain pattern and colors may vary).  We do our best to minimize major defects but small one may make it in but we do our best to make it look its best and function properly.
