Peridot, also known as olivine, is an abundant green mineral that makes up most of the Earth's interior (mantle). This particular peridot is from India and has a bright, apple green color. Peridot is the official birthstone for August and is a classic choice for your jewelry projects. Our coarse material is considered to be pea- sized gravel, ranging between 4 millimeters to 2 millimeters.
