Solar Flashback Calendula mix has flowers that are bi-colored petaled Calendulas ranging from bright and burnt orange to mauve (and some times a few crop up that are bright yellow and pink) and are double-petaled with the under-sides of the petals ranging from light pink to dark mauve. They are just a bit of a stunner and they surprise each year with the different colors. TIP: Harvest when flowers are not fully blooming if you want to dry Calendula for their edible petals. Then as they are drying it will be easier to pull the petals from the flower for storing. Packets: 25 (sampler), 50 Directions: It is easier to directly sow Calendula seeds once all danger of frost has passed. Wait until the soil warms a bit and then plant seeds and cover with 1/4 inch of soil and water. Germination will happen quickly with Calendula.
