The Short-Stroke Actuator Assembly is a complete, pre-mounted linear drive system designed for Leander Motorized Flexion Distraction Tables with a variable height range of 18.5" to 24". This rugged American-made unit combines a hardened steel ball screw jack with a factory-mounted AC gear motor to deliver smooth, controlled vertical lift with excellent reliability. The gear motor is a permanent split capacitor (PSC) induction type, specifically engineered for high starting torque and intermittent duty cycles, making it ideal for chiropractic table applications that require strong, consistent performance without overheating. The actuator features a freewheeling safety mechanism that automatically disengages linear travel at the end of the stroke. Stop pins mounted in the screw thread engage a cammed ball cage inside the nut to prevent overtravel—eliminating the need for external limit switches.
