When it’s all possible! The “Sand Reckoner” is a work by Archimedes where he challenged the idea that it was impossible to calculate the number of grains of sand that fit into the Universe. His solution was to estimate the size of the Universe and create a way to discuss unimaginably large numbers. This handmade Archimedes ceramic tile tessellates in a variety of fabulous geometric patterns to dazzle the eye. An Archimedean tiling consist of regular polygons, where all the edge lengths are similar and the vertices work in tandem, to form a beautiful visual delight across your design surface.  1.5x3.5x1/2 inch Petite Archimedes is waiting to adorn your interior! This size is perfect for a kitchen backsplash or shower niche. I offer a wide variety of artisan glaze hues, you can be assured your tiles will be unique and amazing, made just for you.
