18K Yellow Gold Ancient Coin Pendant (Roman Empire Marcus Aurelius 161-180 C.E)

This authentic ancient coin dates back to around 161 C.E, from the Roman Empire. This silver coin is set in 18K yellow gold. The front of the coin features Marcus Aurelius. The back features Minerva, the Roman version of Greek Goddess, Athena. This necklace comes on a 24-inch, 14K yellow gold paperclip chain.  During his reign, Marcus Aurelius, a Roman emperor from March 7,161 C.E. to Mar 17 180 C.E, was honored on coins. These coins were used to pay soldiers and cover other costs. They were minted in a variety of metals, including as gold and silver. He received the title of Caesar in the year 139 A.D.
