This multi-functional piece can be used as a small side table, end table, drink buddy, statuary stand, vase base, art display, plant stand or just to look cool in a small space of your home! The shape of the table top resembles an elephant head. The top was created out of a figured Maple Burl live edge slab. The wood features high amounts of figuring, gold, brown and red colors, unusual edges and organically gorgeous visual interest! The wood has been worked, sanded, oiled and quenched with several layers of a lacquer based satin film finish to resist moisture and scratches. The film finish application used on the top is an old school method and time consuming process that takes around two weeks to achieve.
