This round slab of Maple Burl has been altered to display black, charcoal, brown and golden tones. The wood has been worked, sanded, oiled and quenched with a proprietary oil based gloss film finish to resist moisture and scratches. This age old process of finishing wood is time consuming, but builds up a durable finish that accents the natural beauty and colors found within the wood. The tripod base is composed of three 1/2" raw steel bars that have been clear coated for protection. It's an awesome mix of organic nature, Mid-Century & Industrial design! A multi-functional piece that can be used as a small side table, end table, drink buddy, statuary stand, vase base, plant stand or just to look cool in the corner of your home!  Measures approximately 12 1/2" x 11" x 22 1/2" H.
