What an exceptionally rare sterling silver relief plaque of the Battle of Shilo featuring images of Confederate and Union Soldiers in battle. A rare sterling silver relief plaque by Henryk Winograd circa 1990's. The plaque features very nice details and some nice patina. The tree in the top middle area by the house has some casting residue? that will need to be professionally moved. You can also have professionally polished or leave as is. Plaque measures about 5" high and about 6 1/2" wide with the rise varying by the design but probably an average of 1 1/4". The sterling is mounted to a felt wrapped wood panel for support and strength. Both show some minor wear from age and storage. This is a piece of art, meant to be hung on a wall and displayed. It is missing the small round o'ring on the back for that purpose. Henryk Winograd was a master Silversmith and considered the preeminent artist in silver smithing techniques. One of his primary arts forms was of American History in repouss
