
Inauguration Grief (1/21)
As was the case after the election, I will be holding space for grief in the days following the inauguration. November's outcome came as a painful shock to many. Perhaps recent weeks have been a kind of calm before the storm. In sticking with that metaphor, whether we feel ready or not, it seems the storm is here. Four more years. What will they bring? How will your friends and family be affected? How will you? What does hope look like right now? I don't have a lot of answers but I believe there's power in connection, in being reminded that when I feel anxious or afraid or overwhelmed, there are like-minded people who care and can relate. This small-group conversation will be a space to share your thoughts and feelings after the inauguration.
