
Holding Space for This Familiar Grief (11/13)
Many of us are heartbroken as we begin to process the results of this presidential election. I've been listening to Thrice's "The Long Defeat,” finding comfort in my friend Dustin's repeated declaration, Together we'll fight the long defeat. These words close quieter and slower than they begin. I want to show up with and for people who are hurting right now. This special small-group conversation will be a little different than the previous ones I’ve offered. Number of Participants: Open to 11 instead of 8, so that more folks are able to join. Cost: $50 instead of $75, to make the event more accessible. As for how we’ll spend the time, I will welcome everyone and share a few thoughts.
