
Lot 1096 - Pique Pants - Black
Up to this point we've only seen raw denim and military fabrics from our friends at Warehouse. So you could say this new fabric "piqued" our interest. It's a fabric often known as Bedford cord, meaning it has vertical running lines known as wales. Also known as Pique, this fabric's wales are nearly impossible to see from a distance but add a tone of character to the pants up close. You'll also notice a certain sheen that comes from a fabric like this. Think jungle cloth at a lighter, more comfortable weight. This is a reproduction of a tapered silhouette worn by East Coast students in the 1960's. We think they look incredibly sleek for a brand that deals mostly in rustic. And the most beautiful part...it's selvedge woven on a power loom not normally found in pique. They cranked an already beautiful fabric up to Warehouse & Co. standards. This loom creates a ton of natural stretch in the cotton making these super comfortable. They will also wear very nicely as the black comes from s
