Lot 1230 - Striped Prisoner Pants - Brown

We know prison-style wear can be very hit-or-miss for people. With movies like Grand Budapest Hotel, we saw a ton of blue/cream stripe jackets that looked so incredible, but people found them hard to style. We find that the trick to this is to only wear the tops or the bottoms. When we saw these in the catalogs, we thought...oh they might be too much for some people. When we got them on for the photoshoot, our perception changed entirely. We've seen a ton of vertically striped pants, but not in all the years we've been selling clothing have we seen a horizontal pant. The 14x10 selvedge has a ton of starch and feels like a work pant out of the gate — this means instant shaping to the leg and at the back of the knee. As we said, we were converted instantly. When we see something we've never seen before it adds an extra tinge of excitement.
