Dwarf purple isopods serve both as a clean-up crew and a supplemental high calcium food for dart frogs, geckos and a variety of other amphibian and reptiles. They are a parthenogenetic species of isopods and reproduce very fast once established. Isopod Depot isopods are cultured on our Isopod Mix Substrate. We feed 2 times a week, alternating our various Iso Chow Food Blends and supplement cuttlebone, egg shells, oyster shells, limestone, and moss.
