After the success of the Plumb hybrid model, I decided to add my twist to another popular historic axe pattern.  The Jersey axe.  The original shape of the axe isn't optimal for competitive throwing due to the beard having an accute angle. So I've flattened out the beard to avoid loss of points due to the axe digging in too deeply.  Additionally I made the curvature of the bit much shallower as too much belly is the consistent complaint I get for the Pluot.  Finally, just because I'm a huge of the look, I threw some phantom bevels onto the cheeks to give the axe a little more pizzazz. (The bevels don't show up in the rendering for some reason that I can't figure out) I'm very excited about the potential for this design.  It has a fantastic melding of overall weight, blade optimization and a more compact design that will keep the weight of the axe closer to the boards. This axe should meet the specifications and regulations for small axe competitions of most organizations. Those regulat
