Advanced Pain Management in Long-Term Care

Pain is a widespread concern for long-term care (LTC) residents and those who care for them. In LTC, pain is prevalent, but often under-reported, under-detected, under-assessed, and under-treated. This educational activity defines pain and explores advanced pharmacological and non-pharmacological pain management strategies that promote the highest practicable level of well-being and functioning for persons living with pain.
