Clinical Hospice: Management of Pain and Other Symptoms

Pain is one of the most common and most feared by individuals and families who are dealing with end-of-life issues. Management and relief of pain is a central component of end of life care and an ethical obligation for the health care professional. This course is targeted for nurses working with persons at end-of-life in any setting. It looks at effective pain and symptom management that is mandatory to provide quality end of life through alleviation of pain and suffering.
