Opal Ring, Small Australian Opal, Size 7, Sterling Silver, Blue Flash

This is a natural Aussie crystal opal from the Lightning Ridge area of Australia. It's base color is clear and grey with flash in blue and green. I cut all of our opal from rough myself so you can be assured this is a natural stone. The setting is about 8 mm across. I used a decorative bezel in fine silver to hold the stone. The patterned band is sterling silver and is a nice width at about 3 mm. I antiqued this ring (intentional darkening of the silver) before giving it a light polish which adds depth to the recessed areas of the band. Opal requires care to not damage it i.e. remove your ring before doing outdoor chores. This is a set size 7 US.
