This opal necklace is made from natural boulder opal from Queensland Australia. The host rock is brown ironstone with beautiful blue opal that looks like a lake in a dessert. We both cut this opal and handcrafted the solid sterling silver setting that holds it. The opal is in a free form teardrop shape and is lightly top domed. The included chain is a solid sterling silver box type chain. All of our stones and fordite are made by us, within our home, in Wisconsin. Our stones are mirror polished and so there will be reflections in the pictures.
