Rare Valentina Schlee Couture Cape

Ca. 1930’s, possibly late 1920’s. Extremely rare. Labeled, “Valentina, Paris, New York.” From the estate of Yolande Perkins, a wealthy heiress who shopped with many of the major Parisian couturiers, including Paul Poiret, Callot Soeurs, etc. Made from what feels like a lightweight, silk/wool blend with a basketweave texture that allows the light to pass through.
